Mar\u00eda Vidal","centro__institucion":"Fundaci\u00f3 de Recerca Cl\u00ednic Barcelona - Institut d'Investigacions Biom\u00e8diques August Pi i Sunyer (FRCB-IDIBAPS)","proyecto":"The interruption of breastfeeding as a possible factor in postpartum breast cancer.","dotacion":"\u20ac100,000","dotacion_num":"100000","descripcion":"<p>Postpartum breast cancer is an aggressive disease that can occur in young women up to 10 years after their last pregnancy.<\/p>\n<p>The project, funded by FERO Cancer with sponsorship from MANGO, will analyze how the abrupt interruption of breastfeeding can alter the immune system and promote an environment that drives tumor growth.
