Its approach involves understanding the function and regulation of different types of T lymphocytes in specific tissues and their ability to control localized antitumor immunity. By combining information on the location and transcriptome of tumor-infiltrating immune cells, the project seeks to decipher the molecular pathways that mediate communication between cells.
