The European Researchers’ Night<\/strong> is an annual event held in more than 300 European cities<\/strong> with a single purpose: bringing science closer to society<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

This year, the FERO Foundation<\/strong> participated in Barcelona<\/strong>, at the Gabriel Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez Library<\/strong>, with a round table titled: \u201cResearching in Barcelona: between myths, challenges, and realities.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Voices that research and transform<\/h2>\n\n

The meeting brought together two oncology research<\/strong> leading figures in the city and winners of the 2020 FERO grants<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n

  • Dr. Toni Celi\u00e0-Terrassa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    The conversation was moderated by Dr. Rub\u00e9n Ventura Masip<\/strong>, director of the FERO Foundation.<\/p>\n\n

    Together they gave an honest, approachable, and humorous<\/strong> talk about what it really means to work in cancer research in a city like Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n
