The talk by <strong>Dr \u00c1ngela P\u00e9rez<\/strong>, a leading figure in biomedical innovation and President of BIOVAL, was an example of how scientific talent can find its place in the business ecosystem. Her message about \u201cknowing how to pivot ideas, projects, the company\u201d inspired attendees to think beyond the laboratory.  <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr Rub\u00e9n Ventura, Director of FERO: \u201cWe are building a community of dreamers who, through their research, bring us closer to the end of cancer\u201d<\/p>\n\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dreaming the future: a collective strategic roadmap<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most valuable aspects of the gathering was the collective development of a<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">strategic roadmap<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">on the major challenges that will shape the oncology of the future.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through working groups, ideas and proposals were gathered and will be synthesised into a strategic report to guide the Foundation\u2019s future actions.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr Rub\u00e9n Ventura<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">, Director of FERO, noted: \u201cWe are building a community of dreamers who, through their research, bring us closer to the end of cancer\u201d.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More than science: a community with soul<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike traditional conferences, the<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FERO Scientific Retreat 2025<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">has an intimate, collaborative and human character.\nIn the words of<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">S\u00edlvia Garriga<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">, President of the Foundation and widow of<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr Josep Baselga<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">, its founder: \u201cHere we not only share science, we also share experiences;
