The Arnold teether: creativity, solidarity, and a cause that unites us
Oli&Carol is not just a natural baby toy brand. It is a story of passion, values, design, and social commitment.
Behind this successful project are two sisters, Oli and Carol, who have brought together sustainability, creativity, and solidarity in every step they take.
And on this occasion, they do so hand in hand with FERO Foundation, launching a very special initiative: the Arnold The Avocado charitable teether campaign.
Arnold is a friendly avocado-shaped baby toy, whose entire proceeds—from March 15 to April 15—were donated to support pediatric cancer research.
We spoke with them in this exclusive interview to learn more about their story, their philosophy, and how this wonderful collaboration with FERO came about.

How it all began: entrepreneurship, passion, and purpose
From a very young age, Oli and Carol breathed entrepreneurship at home.
“Our parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents were always entrepreneurs. We always knew we wanted to start our own project with great enthusiasm,” they explain. And so they did: with passion, energy, and a large dose of creativity.
But it was not just about selling products. “We were clear that we wanted to offer more than toys. We wanted to create experiences with meaningful messages, sustainable products that were beautiful and different from everything the market offered,” they comment.
Toys that care for babies… and the planet
And why teethers and bath toys made from natural rubber? The answer is simple: because they are committed to a cleaner and safer world.
All their products are made from 100% natural raw materials, free from plastics and chemicals, and designed so babies can play and chew without worry. Additionally, they are completely biodegradable.
But their innovation does not stop at the material: “We were the first to create watertight toys, without holes, to prevent the appearance of mold and bacteria,” they explain.
And they also collaborate with dentists and otolaryngologists to ensure ergonomic shapes and sounds that soothe rather than disturb.
More than 80 countries and half a million families committed to a better future
Today, Oli&Carol is present in more than 80 countries and over 3,000 points of sale.
Each year they reach more than half a million families seeking a more conscious alternative to traditional toys.
But what matters most to them is what they represent: “Our toys convey values about sustainability, healthy eating, caring for the planet… because babies are the future.”

A charitable partnership: Oli&Carol and FERO fight together against pediatric cancer
This philosophy of caring, innovating, and building a better future aligns perfectly with the values of FERO Foundation.
“We care about people and often collaborate with charitable initiatives. This time, on the occasion of International Childhood Cancer Day, we knew we had to join FERO and support their cause,” they share with emotion.
And thus the Arnold The Avocado Charitable Teether campaign was born.
From March 15 to April 15, 2025, all profits from the sale of the teether were donated entirely to support pediatric cancer research.
An initiative that demonstrates that small gestures can have a great impact.
Innovating to transform: sustainability, research, and creativity in service of change
Research is also part of Oli&Carol’s DNA.
From the beginning, they sought the most sustainable material for their toys—natural rubber—but their curiosity does not stop there.
They have developed products such as the upcycled boat, made from waste from their own production, or the chlorophyll leaf, created with plant-based pigments and guidance from child health experts.
“For us, research is not just a tool for creating, it is a path to improving the world,” they affirm with conviction.
For 2025, Oli&Carol has set goals as ambitious as they are exciting: continue growing, launch new collections, explore other product categories, and celebrate their tenth anniversary in grand style. All while keeping sight of their two great pillars: sustainability and design.
The secret to success: take the leap, trust, and do things with love
And if these two entrepreneurs are clear about anything, it is that success does not have a magic formula, but it does have an attitude:
“Everything comes down to taking the leap, believing in the process, learning along the way, and always doing things with love.”
A philosophy that aligns perfectly with FERO’s DNA, where looking at cancer with different eyes, taking risks, and achieving great advances are the only way to someday cure pediatric cancer.
From FERO Foundation we celebrate this collaboration with Oli&Carol. Because together, we can advance research and give children—our future—the opportunity to grow, play, and live healthy lives.
