Funded Projects

Active projects

Projects you can fund. Results you can measure.

Every project funded by FERO Cancer has a specific clinical objective, a reference center executing it, and a result measured in real patients. Your investment does not go to a generic fund. It goes to real science.

Dr Josep Baselga, oncologist and pioneer of translational cancer research, an inspiration for the FERO Cancer Foundation
Dr. Baselga FERO Grant

FERO Cancer’s highest-endowed grant, created in memory of Dr. Josep Baselga, founder of the institution. It funds researchers of excellence at the most critical stage of their scientific career.

Completed projects

25 years of projects. 25 years of science reaching patients.

The track record of projects funded by FERO Cancer is the strongest proof that translational research produces results. Here they all are.

Since 2001, FERO Cancer has funded research projects at Spain’s leading oncology centers. Each completed project has generated published scientific knowledge, activated clinical trials, or improved treatments for patients.

The results of each project funded by FERO Cancer are publicly available. Transparency in the use of funds and the impact generated is a non-negotiable principle of the institution.

Scientific results

The impact of research, in real figures.

We measure the result of every euro invested in concrete terms: patients benefited, clinical trials activated, scientific publications generated.
