Transparency
Total Transparency. No Exceptions.
Since 2001, FERO Cancer has published its accounts and activity report without interruption. The ‘Dona con Confianza’ (Donate with Confidence) seal from Fundación Lealtad externally certifies good management practices. The National Award for Scientific Patronage recognizes excellence in the use of funds allocated to research.

Annual Reports

Annual Reports. 25 Years of Documented Activity.
FERO Cancer’s annual report is the most complete document on the foundation’s activities. It includes all projects funded during the year, the scientific results generated, the status of alliances with research centers, fundraising activities, and accounts audited by an independent firm.
The publication of the annual report is a voluntary commitment by FERO Cancer, beyond legal requirements. It is the main instrument for accountability to donors, partners, collaborating companies, and society in general.
Accounts and Reports
Accounts Audited Annually.
No Exceptions.
The annual audit of FERO Cancer’s accounts is a commitment the foundation has imposed on itself since its establishment in 2001. There are no exceptions. No unaudited fiscal years. Financial traceability is complete.
Audit reports are available to anyone who requests them. FERO Cancer has nothing to hide in the use of the funds it receives.

Donate with Confidence Seal
External Assurance of Our Good Practices.

The ‘Dona con Confianza’ seal certifies that FERO Cancer meets the highest standards of transparency, governance, efficiency in the use of funds, and communication with donors. It is not a one-time accreditation. It is reviewed and renewed periodically.
Fundación Lealtad is the leading organization in Spain for accrediting good practices in NGOs. Its analysis is independent, rigorous, and based on verifiable documentation. The ‘Dona con Confianza’ seal is the clearest signal a non-profit organization can give that it manages the funds it receives well.
