The XXIX FERO Grant project for young researchers is led by Dr. Renée Beekman from the CRG. The team studies a specific type of B-cell lymphoma, mantle cell lymphoma, which is poorly understood and lacks curative therapeutic options. This project will employ highly innovative techniques to discover the cell of origin for this type of cancer and understand the molecular reasons behind its development, in order to improve diagnosis, predict its evolution, and develop more specific treatments.
