For the second consecutive year, Mary Kay and FERO will continue to support the breast cancer research project currently led by oncologist Dr Ciruelos, focused on understanding why the same treatment works—or does not work—for some patients, by investigating the mechanisms of resistance to these therapies.
Dr Ciruelos is Coordinator of the Breast Cancer Unit at Hospital 12 de Octubre and HM Hospitals in Madrid, and Vice President of the SOLTI Cancer Research group. Thanks to FERO and Mary Kay, she will receive support to work with her team on new lines of research that bring us a little closer to a cure for breast cancer.
Pink Changes LivesSM: Mary Kay’s new campaign with FERO.
Mary Kay is the world’s No. 1 direct-selling brand of skincare and colour cosmetics, known for its extensive social work in the more than 35 countries where it operates. The “Pink Changes Lives” programme has already supported more than 6 million women and their families worldwide through various organisations that contribute to social causes.

Last year, the star of the solidarity campaign was a heart-shaped brush, and this year the spotlight is on lipsticks with a glossy finish. These lipsticks are available in incredible shades, and wearing beautiful lips while knowing you are helping to improve the lives of women with cancer is priceless!
The first shade, POSITIVE IMPACT, is an intense, creamy and bold pink, while the second shade, EMPOWER, is a softer nude tone, perfect for all skin types. Both are coated with a decorative glossy layer that makes this lipstick very special. Once it is applied to the lips for the first time, that layer is removed and a creamy formula remains, revealing its true and captivating colour.
Breast cancer research: the goal of our partnership.
From 1 May to 31 December 2024, or while stocks last, Mary Kay Spain will donate €1 to the FERO Foundation for the purchase of each limited-edition Pink Changes LivesSM Lipstick.
Silvia Garriga, President of the FERO Foundation, states that “collaborations like this are vital so that society as a whole understands the importance of research and the major advances being made to cure this disease are made visible. Because without research, there is no cure.”
Last year, Mary Kay donated €40,000 to the FERO Foundation to fund the development of breast cancer research.
And you—will you help us meet this challenge? You can get your lipsticks at www.marykay.es or through your Mary Kay Beauty Consultant.
