GRANT AMOUNT
€80,000
€80,000
With the VI FERO-MANGO Project on breast cancer, the laboratory led by Dr. Sara Sdelci aims to develop a tool that can be used clinically to determine which triple-negative breast cancer patients will most benefit from DNA repair-targeted therapies (PARPi). Additionally, they will use this tool to identify potential therapeutic combinations that could benefit patients, thereby increasing possible treatment strategies for triple-negative breast cancer.
To study the activation of the DNA repair pathway, they will use patient samples, microscopy, and genomics. With this, they hope to validate a new tool to identify the best therapeutic strategy for patients.
